Obituary of Robert Alexander Morvay
Bob A. Morvay, 76, A Colorado native and longtime resident of Arvada passed away April 18, 2023 peacefully at home with his family at his side. He had a wonderful family, many many friends, and a treasure trove of incredible life stories and jokes to tell.
Bob was born in Denver, Colorado to Robert and Antoinette Morvay on September 13, 1946 and had one brother Rick. He was a very unforgettable person, and anyone who met him loved him immediately, with many of his friends being life-long. He married Debbie Morvay, on September 15, 1979, they had two wonderful sons, Tyler and Jessie, who are both married now, with Jessie's wife Megan, Tyler's wife Bryna, and granddaughter Malaya they enjoyed many camping trips, cruises, and traveling trips together, with each one being a new adventure.
Bob spent his earlier working years at his parent's family business in Wheatridge, a meat locker and processing facility. He then went on to serve in the US Navy on a destroyer acting as a communications officer during the Vietnam war. After returning from service, Bob worked for the Union Pacific Railroad in downtown Denver, and later worked for the department of energy, Jefferson County school district, and Jefferson County department of corrections. Throughout his varied careers, Bob also ran side businesses painting signs, pinstriping, and lettering boats.
Bob was an inventor, artist, craftsman, mechanic, outdoorsman and entertainer. He had an incredibly creative spirit and would constantly be inventing things to solve every-day problems. Bob absolutely loved the outdoors and spent much of his free time exploring the beautiful rocky mountains with his family.

Catholic Service will be Friday, May 5th 10:30am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, on 58th Avenue, West of Ward road approx. 4 blocks.
Celebration of Life is to immediatley follow at The colorado Tap house, 14982 W 69th Ave, Arvada, CO 80007.
