Robert Mrozek Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Niles on Feb. 12, 2025.
Robert Martin Mrozek, known affectionately as Rob to his friends and family, passed away at the age of 58 in Three Oaks, Michigan on February 10, 2025. Born on October 16, 1966, in Michigan City, Indiana, Rob was a man whose life was characterized by his loving nature, kindness, and remarkable handiness.
Rob's early years in Michigan City laid a foundation for a life rich in family values and practical skills. After completing trade school, he honed his talent for fixing anything that came his way. Whether it was a car that wouldn't start or an appliance on the fritz, Rob was the consummate tinkerer who could breathe life back into the most stubborn of machines.
He took great joy in his role as a dad and a papa, cherishing every moment with his beloved daughter, Brittany Savage, and his grandchildren, Landon Savage, Hailee Sherwood, Aubriella Pahl, Austin Pahl, Bentley Pahl and Braxton Ravenscroft. His family was his world, and he instilled in them the importance of love, compassion, and resilience. Rob's sister Trisha Mrozek, brother Matt Koehler and his wife Stefanie, half-siblings Christine Hull and Erin Nahrwold, and his dear friend, Lance (Linda)Fellows, who was like a brother to him, Terri and Tami who were his adopted sisters, will remember Rob for his unwavering support and the warmth of his company.
Rob's nieces and nephews, Casey Parish, Rebecca Manolovits, Abbigayle Mrozek, Payton McCloy, Declan Koehler, Bridget Koehler, Danielle, and Brandi along with his five great-nephews and one great-niece, Aiden, Rohan, Isabella, Robert, Michael, and Colton, and his adopted nieces and nephews; Richard, Myka, Darr, Ashley, and Jordan were a source of immense pride and joy. His presence in their lives was a testament to his belief that family is everything.
A man of many interests, Rob was an active member of the New Buffalo bowling league, where his competitive spirit and friendly demeanor made him a cherished teammate. His love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him. There was nothing better for Rob than a day out on the lake, fishing rod in hand, waiting for the next big catch. He also thoroughly enjoyed deer hunting, embracing the quietude and the connection with nature that it provided.
Rob's love for his family and his passion for life's simple pleasures left a lasting impression on those around him. He taught many how to appreciate the little moments and to tackle life's challenges with a kind heart and a tool in hand.
A celebration of Rob's life with take place February 18, 2025, from 5-6 p.m. with a service following at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 521 East Main Street, Niles, MI 49120.
