Robert A. Naudascher, of Doylestown, PA, passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior on October 31, 2025, at the age of 82. He was the loving husband of Elaine L. (Bauer) Naudascher for sixty-one years.

Robert was born January 17, 1943 in Philadelphia to the late Albert and Catherine (Erdman) Naudascher. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald and Albert Naudascher.

Robert, also known to others as Bob or Buzz, was a 1961 graduate of Dobbins Technical High School in Philadelphia. During his teen years he met his future wife, Elaine, at the church youth group and they were married soon after high school. While pursuing a career as a draftsman, he also proudly served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1966-1971.

In 1968, Bob became the owner of Buzz's Aquarium and Pet Shop in Horsham, PA, which he operated for the next 40 years. Fish and aquariums were his childhood hobby and stuck with him as he grew up. He turned this passion into a profession. This is the origin of his nickname Buzz, which he carried the rest of his life. Every day before he went to work, he would eat at one of the various local restaurants for breakfast, meeting up and socializing with friends. He taught himself all about the industry of tropical fish, birds and small animals which he utilized in servicing his customers as a trusted resource long before the internet. He never met a stranger and customers became friends. Over the years, Buzz's Aquarium additionally sold model airplanes, scale-model cars and diecast cars – allowing him to indulge in another one of his hobbies. His mantra was he never, ever had a bad day.

After retirement in 2007, he went on to various jobs including working retail at Quakertown Farmer's Market and delivering auto parts. He did not like to sit still and enjoyed being around people.

Bob was a man known for his quick-witted humor and jokes. He loved his 3 girls and took great pride in their accomplishments; he welcomed his 3 sons-in-law to the family and doted on his 6 grandchildren. He enjoyed taking care of his lawn, listening to Frank Sinatra music and was a member of a local Post Card club.

Bob was a long-time member of the former First Baptist Church of Doylestown, PA.

In addition to his wife, Elaine, Robert is survived by his children, Jennifer Baker and her husband Daniel of North Wales, PA, Pamela Goldman and her husband David of Yardley, PA, and Amelia Beard and her husband Marc of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Lily, James, and Madeline Goldman, and Colson, Preston, and Spencer Beard; his sisters, Arlene Heintzelman and her husband Rudy, Elaine Buffa and her husband Salvatore; and his sister-in-law, Theresa Naudascher. Robert is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation and viewing celebration of Robert's life on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., at Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901, followed by his Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately.
