Wayne G. Ewer, of Lahaska, passed away on October 17, 2025 at his residence, with family by his side. He was 69 years old. Wayne was the loving husband of Cheryl A. (Luff) Ewer; together they shared almost 47 years of marriage.
He was born in Doylestown and raised in Lahaska to the late Howard and Grace (Wasser) Ewer. In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Ewer.
Wayne was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose strength, dedication, and kindness touched everyone who knew him. He proudly served with the Midway Fire Company for 53 years and worked for the Buckingham Township Road Department for 47 years, earning the respect and friendship of all who worked beside him. Wayne loved the outdoors - hunting, wildlife, and tending to his bees and trees. He could often be found working on one of his many projects with his devoted dogs by his side. He was known for his craftsmanship, his generosity, and his willingness to help anyone in need. Wayne will be remembered for his dedication, hard work, his big heart - and for the beautiful life and legacy he leaves behind.
In addition to his wife, Cheryl, Wayne is survived by his children, Jessica Ewer and her partner Vencent Philip, and Jennifer Chase and her husband Anthony; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Cole, Mason, McKenna, and Damian; and his sister, Janice Naugle and her husband Jerry.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation in celebration of Wayne's life on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road),
New Britain, PA 18901 and on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at Midway Volunteer Fire Company Station 5, 5770 Route 202 (Cross Streets: Route 263 and Street Road), Lahaska, PA 18931, followed by his Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m.
