Robert F. "Bob" Nelligan

Robert F. "Bob" Nelligan, 94, a lifelong resident of West Roxbury, passed away on September 13, 2024. Beloved son of the late Thomas E. and Marion L. (Broughey) Nelligan. Dear brother of Frederick "Fred" Nelligan and his wife Sally of West Roxbury, John Nelligan and his late wife Phyllis Kathleen of Walpole, Rita M. Dwyer and her husband Edward of Millis, the late Thomas Nelligan, Helen Bernard, Marion Holland, Joseph Nelligan, Marylou Sullivan, Paul, and David Nelligan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bob served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over 50 years and enjoyed many meals at the Corrib restaurant.
Visiting Hours in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury on Wednesday, September 25th from 9:00am to 11:00am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
