Robert Nusbickel Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Logan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc - Malvern on Dec. 23, 2025.
Robert William Nusbickel (Bob), 88, of Berwyn, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Philadelphia, to the late Edward Mace Nusbickel and Ruth (Harmony) Nusbickel. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carolyn; his daughter Susan Allen and her husband Bill; his son Andy Nusbickel and his wife Kathy; his son-in-law Jose Pagan; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Linda Pagan. Bob was a veteran of the US Naval Reserves and earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University.

A kind and gentle man who loved sailing, nature, and working with his hands. He was passionate about doing the "right thing", managing the construction of several houses for Habitat for Humanity and volunteering in the community during retirement. He enjoyed building things for his family, including dollhouses for each of his four granddaughters and hundreds of other large and small projects. He was happiest while sailing on Cape Cod Bay. His ability to see the positive in nearly all situations and goodness in others will live on in everyone he touched.

Visitation with family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00 with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 on Saturday, January 10, 2026, all to be held at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 400 Lancaster Ave., Malvern, PA 19355. Memorial contributions in memory of Bob can be made to Habitat for Humanity of Chester County, P.O. Box 1452, Coatesville, PA 19320.

Bob had a kind and generous heart; gracing us with his delicious zucchini bread but more importantly years of many wonderful memories full of smiles and laughter in the sun at Vero Beach and Cape Cod. Much love to Carolyn and family- Janet Rende'
