Visitation will be held prior to service from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Mr. Osteen passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 in Houston. He was born on August 5, 1976 in Houston to Mr. Robert and Janice Osteen.
"For God so loved the world, He gave his only begotten son, so that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16. These exact words were favorites of Lee Osteen, and for a good reason. Lee knew his Savior and believed in Him. He was saved at an early age during church camp and allowed Jesus to be part of his life for ever more. Lee was a dad, son, brother, uncle and friend. The love he felt for his children was immeasurable. Being a father was one of his most rewarding and joyous periods of his life. He also felt a great devotion to his mother. He knew the sacrifices she made in raising boys, and he loved her endlessly.
Lee was also a part of an even bigger family..his Free Wheeler Family, who gave him the nickname of "Hatchet". The comradery and deep seeded commitment to each other is simply not defined by words. He was dutiful to this group of people and the things they stood for. Their commitment to others gave Hatchet the opportunity to help those in need. He was the president of the Freeport chapter and beyond proud to participate in the rallies and any other gatherings they had. His involvement also allowed him many adventures on his motorcycle, which brought him tremendous joy. He often told his mother "It is NOT a gang Mom, it is a club" one he was honored to be a part of.
Lee was honest, loyal and had a heart for those in need. He loved his family and friends and did all he could to pass on these traits to his children. His presence in the lives of those he held dearest will be missed but his laughter and guidance he bestowed on them will forever remain in their memories as they carry on his legacy.
Lee is survived by his daughter, Shyann Rose Osteen; son, Liam Ryder Osteen; mother, Janice Newman and husband Gary; father, Robert Osteen and stepfather, Thomas Christopher who helped raise him. He is also survived by his brothers, Terry Emile Adam and wife, Esmeralda and Ben Jefferson Osteen; nephew, Justin Adam and Konher Osteen and nieces, Delainey Whitehead and Savannah Osteen.
He is preceded in death by his grant parents, Ben Wiseman and Betty Wiseman and his uncle Benny Wiseman.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dan, Chris, Cutter, Todd, Bobby and Red.
