Robert Pegan Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 19, 2025.
Robert "Bob" Pegan passed away at the age of 83 on September 6, 2025. He was born to Paul and Louise Pegan in Ohio on February 27, 1942. He lived in Lake Mary, Florida with his wife Diane for the last 35 years.

He is survived by his wife Diane Pegan, his sister Susie Ridgeway his children, Diane Ferguson, Christine Garcia, Kristen Cooper, and Mark Pegan, many grandchildren and several great grandchildren. His other son Brent Burton passed away recently as well. We wish to thank all the family members, friends, and health care workers that have been there the last several years caring for Bob.

Bob graduated from Ohio State University and was a huge Buckeye fan because of his time at his college. He was Vice President of Central States Enterprises for 30 years. He was an avid golfer playing the sport all over the world. He had several golf memberships but his primary club was Heathrow Golf and Country Club. He was also a season ticket holder for The Orlando Magic and loved going to games with his son Mark and his wife Diane.

His family is very grateful for our time together. We are planning on having a celebration of life for Bob at some point in the near future. We appreciate your thoughts and prayer during this difficult time.

Very sorry about Bob´s passing. We lost touch over the last few years but when I heard about Bob, memories of happier, wonderful times came flooding back. Bob was simply put, a true gentleman. Kind, caring and always there to help. So many good times during our golf outings in Florida. I remember Bob being so grateful when we made him an honorary Canadian.
RIP my friend.
