David PeGan

David Lee PeGan, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2024, in Edwardsburg, Michigan, at the age of 67. Born on January 6, 1957, in Niles, Michigan, to the late Richard and Dorothy (Young) PeGan, David grew up with a deep appreciation for family and hard work.
David, known affectionately as "Dave" by his friends, dedicated most of his life to the road as a trucker, a career that reflected his love for travel and adventure.
He was often found in his garage, where he could often be seen working on a new woodworking project or tuning up some machinery. His passion for mud-bogging, motorcycles, and dune buggies was well-known among his peers, but it was his family that truly captured his heart.
David's love for his family was boundless. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Mary Lou (Moore) PeGan, his devoted daughter, Nicole Marie PeGan of Edwardsburg, seven granddaughters, two grandsons, and the cherished memories of his grandson Jace and son William, both of whom preceded him in death.
