Robert Joseph Perilloux Sr.

Robert Joseph Perilloux Sr., at the age of 87, entered eternal rest peacefully on Saturday morning, September 23, 2023, at his family home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 17, 1935, to Ralph Perilloux, Sr. and Louise LeBlanc Perilloux.
He is survived by his wife of 66 wonderful years, Dorothy Wager Perilloux, his adoring children, David Perilloux (Gwen) and Brenda Perilloux Morgan (Ron) and daughters-in-law, Susan Perilloux and Michelle Perilloux. Robert was the proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren, and great grandfather of 8 great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his sons, Robert J. Perilloux Jr. and Jeff A. Perilloux, his parents Ralph, Sr. and Louise Perilloux, his brothers James Perilloux, and Ralph Perilloux Jr., and his sisters Margie McIntyre, Leona McCaroll, and Geraldine Carter.
Robert was born in New Orleans, but lived in Madisonville, and eventually he moved to Bedico in 1985. After graduating from Covington High School in 1956, he opened his own television sales and service shop on Highway 21 in Madisonville. In addition to working in his shop he drove a school bus for St. Tammany Parish School Board for 25 years.
Robert was loving, and a very caring person to all. He enjoyed spending time traveling around the US. In addition to traveling, he also enjoyed camping and fishing. However, his true passion was spending time with his loving family and friends. Robert was well respected and liked and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His jovial spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memories of his cherished friends and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Bedico Baptist Church, 28156 Hwy 22, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday, September 29, 2023. Visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM. Interment will immediately follow services and will take place take in Wager Cemetery in Madisonville.
