Robert Persson Obituary
A native of Greenville, SC, son of the late Robert Edward Persson Sr. and Ada Oliver Persson, he was a retired machinist at General Electric, and he attended Tyger Baptist Church. After retirement, he enjoyed farming.
Surviving are his wife, Tina Center Persson; a son, Robert Edward Persson III; two daughters, Amber Persson Williams (Brian), and Christina Persson Hensley (Sean); a brother, Stephen Persson; and five grandchildren, Jeremy Lee Gilstrap, Caleb Allen Williams, Abigail Rose Persson, Makayla Avery Williams, and Mackenzie Grace Persson; and two great-grandchildren, Daisy Elaine Gilstrap and Axhl Lee Williams.
Mr. Persson was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Elaine Persson; and a sister Cindy Persson Metrakoudes.
Memorial services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Mr. Sean Hensley.
Visitation will be held 2:45-3:45 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary.
The family will be at their respective homes.
