Robert Petroff Obituary
Robert W. Petroff, age 87, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025. He was born in Erie on July 11, 1937, son of the late Michael and Sadie Carey Petroff.
Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and then worked at Hammermill /International Paper until his retirement. He served as President of the Hammermill Union in the 1970's. Bob enjoyed visits to Las Vegas, bowling, fishing and gardening.
Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patricia Petroff; three children, Michael Petroff (Karen), Robin Petroff Hedlund (Joe) and Debra Herman (Rhett); four grandchildren, Alexandra Petroff, Derick and Brandon Herman (Savanna) and Nicole Prichard (Jonny); two great-grandchildren, Elle Prichard and Liam Herman; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kristine Petroff; two brothers, Michael and Thomas Petroff; and one sister, Edna Burdick.
At the family's request, private arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. with an interment to be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
