Robert Plance

Robert (Bob) Charles Plance of Pawleys Island, SC passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 72 years. Bob was born in Millersburg, OH on September 21, 1951.
Bob was a devoted, loving husband and will be forever remembered by his wife of 36 years, Sandra (Sandy) Lesley Plance of Pawleys Island. He will be remembered by his brother, George Plance (Sharon) of Massillon, OH. He was a much loved uncle to his nephews, Chris Plance (Susan) of Dover, OH; Scott Plance (Wendy) of Wooster, OH and a niece, Tina Miller (John) also of Wooster. He will also be remembered by his great-nieces and great-nephews, his extended family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mildred Plance of Massillon, OH.
After moving to Murrells Inlet, SC in 1983, Bob enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the ocean. He enjoyed surf-fishing and kayaking. He was a devoted doggie-lover having been "daddy" to three adorable dachshunds, Wolfgang, Yanni and Franzi, since passed. He was a passionate supporter of our local animal shelters. In retirement, Bob enthusiastically enjoyed studying and sharing his knowledge of military history.
A private service will be held.
