Robert Poer Obituary
Robert Garland Poer departed from this life on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at age 80. Robert was born December 31, 1942, in Abilene, Texas to the late Garland W. Poer and Genetta (Tubbs) Poer. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military career, he was a foreman at Pacific Gas and Electric.
Robert is survived by his wife, Linda Poer; children, Kevin Poer, and his wife, Tina Poer, and Jeanette Dickens and her husband, Ronnie Ray Dickens; and grandchildren, David Poer and his wife, Leah Poer, and their daughter, Rainey; Lydia Poer; Hensley Dickens; Cadence Dickens; and Raylan Dickens. He will be remembered for his faith in God and for the love he held for his family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Willow Park Baptist Church, in Willow Park, Texas.
