Robert A. Poole Jr., 62 of Mercer, passed away on March 15, 2026 at home surrounded by family. He was born in Grove City on September 16, 1963 to parents Robert A. Poole and Judy L. Proud.
Robert married his wife Darice L. Poole on October 4, 1998 and she survives at home.
Robert spent his life working hard at the family farm and running Poole Dirt Work in the Mercer area. When not hard at work he loved and valued spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his mother, Judy; three children, Tim (Lisa) Adams, Delaney Poole, and Brad Poole, all of Mercer; two grandchildren, Olivia and Briar; and three sisters, Shelbee (Shawn) Hostetler, Sharon (Frank) Defino, and Sherry Poole.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Sr. and an infant brother, Brett Poole.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro where visitation will take place on Tuesday March 17th from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm and Wednesday March 18th from 10am until the time of service at 11am. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
