Robert Ray Province, Jr. "Slick" age 97 of Luttrell, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 15th, 2025. He passed peacefully at Fort Sanders Regional surrounded by his loved ones. He retired from Tom's Foods after 30+ years. He always had a smile on his face and shared his love for the Lord with anyone he came across. Always leaving them with the message he lived by "Keep Looking Up."
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51yrs, Dorothy Jean Province; parents, Robert and Louise (Cates) Province; brothers, Ray (Patricia), Bill (Marie), Ross (Hazel), Calvin (Wanda), James (Alice), Charles (Shirley), Paul and Troy; sister, Mary Emory.
He is survived by his daughter, Fayda (Floyd) Fletcher; son, Dewayne Province; grandchildren, Melissa (Michael) Norman, Judy (Joseph) Mills; great-grandchildren, Haylee (JT) Eaton, Kaylee Tharp, Kenlee Effler; great-great-grandchild, Everly Eaton; brother David (Mary); sister Wanda (Cecil) Forrester, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Cedar Ford Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m., Rev. Eddie Muncey officiating, music by Brittany and Eddie Muncey. Interment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Community Cemetery in Luttrell. Pallbearers: Michael Norman, Joseph Mills, Adam Tharp, JT Eaton, Alex Brandenburg and Frank Anderson. Honorary Pallbearers: Anthony Mills, Peyton Mills, Tyler Tharp and Asher Tharp. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home to go with the funeral procession. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
