Mr. Robert Lee Pruitt, age 85, passed away Tuesday, August 12,2025 peacefully. Robert was born on January 8,1940 to O.B and Estella Pruitt in Soso, Mississippi. Eleven children were born from this union of which Robert was the fifth Child.

Robert accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Soso, MS.

Robert enlisted in the Army in 1954. He received Honorable Discharge. He owned a Business in Mississippi until he decided to head North. Robert loved to travel and was well known and 'Loved' by many.

Robert preceded in death by his Parents: O.B and Estella Pruitt, Brothers: O.B Pruitt Jr, Johnny "Jap" Pruitt, Jessie Pruitt and Charles Pruitt. Sisters: Lillie Mae Sewell, Christine Gavin and Barbara Faye Pruitt. Children: Tomeka Knight of Mississippi and DeWayne Ricks of Ohio.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory, Sister: Annie Ruth Speights, Brothers: Lonnie Pruitt and Willie "Red" Pruitt. Children: Resha and Robert Jr. of Mississippi, Hazel of Texas, Wayne of Michigan, Robert, Tony, Surpater, Gretchen, Twuiner and Latonya Aston all of Ohio, Christine of N. Carolina. Grandfather and Great Grandfather of many. Amongst a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
