Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Brick, NJ then Holiday City South, Berkeley Twp., NJ, before moving to Pittsburgh 3 years ago.
He was an Insurance Agent for Prudential in Jersey City for many years before his retirement.
Robert was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.
He was predeceased by his wife of 69 years, Ruth Puglisi in 2019.
Robert is survived by his three children, Debra Hutchinson and her husband Peter of Pittsburgh, PA, Robert J. Puglisi and his wife Dori of Brick, NJ, Paul Puglisi and his wife Aileen of Brick, NJ, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 3, 2024 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday, March 4, 2024 10:00am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I am so sorry for the loss of your father, my uncle Bob. Hello Debra, Hello Pug and Hello Pauly. Somehow years ago we lost contact with each other and I hope we can communicate with each other from afar.
I'm also sorry for the loss of your mom, my aunt Ruthie. I'm just now learning about their passing.
