Robert Keith Rabalais passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, at his residence.
Robert was born and raised in Mansura, Louisiana, and developed a deep connection to his community. He later resided in Jackson, Louisiana, where he has dedicated 25 years of his professional life to the State of Louisiana's Mental Health System and Lane Regional Medical Center practicing occupational therapy with the bachelor's degree he earned through Northeast Louisiana University. His work reflected a commitment to supporting others and making a meaningful impact in his field.
In his leisure time, Robert found joy in playing golf and was an avid fan of watching Bill Maher and Family Guy. He also enjoyed visiting local establishments such as Henry Brothers and Chefs To Go, where he shared many memorable moments with those around him.
Robert is survived by his mother, Geneva Rabalais, and preceded in death by his father Alfred Rabalais. Robert will also be somberly remembered by his son, Ian Rabalais, his wife, Henri Rabalais, and his siblings Nick and Christine Rabalais.
Services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura, Louisiana.
Robert was loved and will continue to be loved by all the people he has touched throughout his life. May Robert’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him and serve as a reminder of the lives he touched throughout his journey of life.
