Robert Emory Rainwater

Robert “Bobby” Rainwater, born May 25, 1943, of Alpharetta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Bobby was a devoted family man known for being a loving grandfather and an amazing cook. His kitchen was often the heart of family life, where he showed his love through home-cooked meals, shared laughter, and time spent together. Bobby’s warmth, generosity, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patty Rainwater, with whom he shared 54 years; his daughter, Robin Rainwater; his son, Danny Henson (Paula); his nephew Kevin Rainwater; and his cherished grandchildren, Trey Henson (Marianne), Tricia Harton (Ben), and TJ Harton (Brandelyn). He was also a proud great-grandfather to Baxter, James, and Stormy, who brought him immense joy.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary Rainwater; his brother, Lamar Rainwater; his daughter, Stormy Henson; and his nephew Brent Rainwater, whom he loved deeply and remembered always.

Services will be held at Ingram’s Funeral Home on December 27th, with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. and the service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate Bobby’s life.
