Robert James Reminder

Robert J. Reminder, 75, died Monday March 6, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Linda C. (Bailey) Reminder. Born in Aurora, Ohio. He was a son of the late James and Harriet (Koehler) Reminder. Robert had been employed at Electric Boat as a supervisor for 20 years. He later worked as a cabinet maker with various wood working companies. He had served with the U.S. Navy Seabees during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion Post 43 in Warwick. Robert is survived by his son James J. Reminder and his wife Nicole and his grandson Jared J. Reminder. He was the brother of Charles Reminder, Virginia Folsom, Dennis Reminder, Jack Reminder, Chris Reminder, the late Thomas Reminder, Edward Reminder, and Alan Reminder. Brother-in-law of Judy Reminder, Ron Folsom, Karen Reminder, Becky Reminder, Penny Reminder, and Lara Reminder.
A visitation will be held Monday, March 13, 2023 9-10 AM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Peter Church, Fair Street, Warwick. Burial with military honors in the RI Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the William Shields Scholarship Fund, 662 West Shore Road, Warwick, RI 02889, will be appreciated.
