Robert Resendez Sr., of El Campo, passed away at the age of 71 in Sugar Land on August 14, 2025. He was born on Jan 16, 1954 in El Campo to Cyprian Resendez and Helaria (Lydia) Escamilla Gonzales. He worked for the grocery business most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Delia Perez; children, Robert Resendez Jr., Robert Resendez III, Patricia Diaz and Mary Resendez; grandchildren, Alex and Jacob Diaz and Elias and Violet Rodriguez. He is also survived by his siblings, Cyprian Resendez, Sesario Resendez, Josephine Rodriguez, Annie Resendez, Gloria Resendez, Luciano Resendez, Susie Outlaw, Mario Grego and Max Gonzales Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Amy Resendez and brother, George Resendez.Services will be held at a later date
