Scott William "Slim" Strnadel

Scott William "Slim" Strnadel, 62, of El Campo, passed away August 9, 2025. He was born on August 31, 1962 in El Campo. Slim was a rancher and part owner of K & T Construction. He married Sheri Tenant on October 2, 2010. He was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church, where he served on the Parish Administrative Council Board. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2490 and the Rocking W Rodeo Club since 1983. He is survived by his wife, Sheri Tenant Strnadel of El Campo; mother, Rose Marie Kaspar Strnadel of Hillje; daughter, Kaycie Heck and husband Craig of The Woodlands; son, Cory King and wife Shannon of Montgomery; grandchildren, Camden, Kyler and Tessa King; brothers, Rodney Strnadel of Bastrop, Jeff Strnadel of El Campo and Greg Strnadel and wife Leann of Tyler; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Albert and Diana Tenant of El Campo; sisters-in-law, Sandra Tucker of Bay City and Shanna Dodd and husband Matthew of Blessing; nieces and nephews, Megan Strnadel, Cason Strnadel, Jeyten Strnadel, Lentz Tucker, Lanae Tucker and Colby Wilson, Morgan Fiala and husband Jeff; Malorie Hansen and fiancé Call Devant and Mason Dodd. Slim was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph "R.J." Strnadel Jr. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13 at Triska Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 14 at St. Philip Catholic Church. The funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Dalton Ervin officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Juan Alba, Glenn Buenger, Rodney Dluhos, Darrin Stock, Curtis Eggemeyer, Kyle Koudela, Troy Prasek and Mike Watz. Memorial donations in memory of Slim may be made to St. Philip Catholic Church or St. Philip School.
