Robert B. Reynolds, 71 of Battery Park, VA, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025 after a brief illness.
Bob was a lifetime member of Battery Park Baptist Church and Church Trustee. He was a graduate of Smithfield High School and Christopher Newport University. He retired from Citi Bank Card Services.
Bob was an avid sports fan, a dedicated UNC Tarheel basketball fan, as well as Washington Redskins Fan. He enjoyed following the sports of the neighborhood kids. He was an active volunteer and Board Member of Hands and Hearts Foundation.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, James Harold and Malinda Bloxom Reynolds, and his brother Jimmie Reynolds. He is survived by his two sisters, Linda Joyce Thornton (Ray) of Mechanicsville, VA and Brenda Reynolds of Battery Park, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, 2 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Battery Park Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Hand and Hearts Foundation or the Battery Park Cemetery Foundation, P O Box 6, Battery Park, VA 23304.
