Bob "Hammer" Ridgley, 69 years on this planet, departed this life, Sunday, August 20, 2023. He was born September 15, 1953 in Russellville, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Holla Rosetta Prischelle; father, Vernal Leroy Ridgley and beloved baby sister, Nevonne Ridgley and beloved grandparents, Sally and Daniel Gadberry.
He is survived by his son, Jason Ridgley & wife Gwen of Russellville; daughter, Kacy Goebel & husband Chuck of Dardanelle, son, Daniel Potter of, Sacramento California; son, Jason Robison and wife Tracy of Russellville, son, Adam Robison and wife Jennifer of NW Arkansas; best friends, Chris Cole and Donna Ogle, Spirit brother, Running Eagle; brothers, Kenny Ridgley, JD Ridgley and Jimmy Ridgley of Sacramento, California; sisters, Shirley Bell, Yvonne Johnson of Sacramento, California and Caroline Cauley of Dardanelle; grandchildren, Jason Robert Ridgley of Potosi, Mississippi, Joseph Andrew Mantalvanos of Dardanelle, Scott and Anna Ridgley of Ronert Park, California, Austin Goree of Dover, Ma'laiyai and Sophia of Russellville, Gracie and Dutch Andrew of Yell County, as well as several nieces and nephews all over the world, including Troy Palma and Holly Roina of North Sacramento, California.
Please feel welcome to be a part of his come and go, memorial visitation, 2-4pm, Friday, September 22, 2023 at Russellville Family Funeral. We will begin with military honors at 2:00. As you visit with the family, please share your personal "Bob Ridgley experience" because like Bob, Dylan and Jim Hendrix, he was quite an experience.
His Life Celebration, in the form of a huge party, (as he loved), featuring BBQ, filled with food, family and laughter, his favorite three things, will be all day Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Jason and Gwen's property.
Out of town family and friends, please RSVP. If you need help with lodging, please call Jason, Gwen or Kacy, to work out logistics.
We will be rejoicing in his escape from the confines he experienced and sharing the true Bob Ridgley experience.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
