Robert Rippee Obituary
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 at Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas.
Robert was born in Nacogdoches, Texas to Dolores Garcia Rippee and Paul Ellis Rippee II on March 15, 1979. He went to school at New England Culinary Institute and worked as a chef and was working on becoming an executive chef.
Robert worked in many places, including the Princess Cruise line resort at Mt. McKinley, in Alaska, and most recently Besos Cocina-Cantina in Round Rock, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Ellis Rippee II and is survived by his mother, Dolores Rippee Davison and loving partner Jeff; his brother, Paul Ellis Rippee III as well as many other beloved family members.
Rob loved the outdoors, he recently took up gardening, exploring and loved to celebrate the holidays with family. Memorials may be sent to the rehabilitation organization of your choice in Robs name. The Family of Robert Andrew Rippee wish to extend deep appreciation to the family of Deborah Ann Hegle and Butch Hegle for all their love and support.
A reception will follow the service at Besos Cocina & Cantina, 3107 S I-35 Frontage Rd suite 820, Round Rock, TX 78664

To the Rippe family, my name is Derrick. My wife Vicki and I would like to offer our sincere condolences to you all. We met Rob while he worked at Besos´s. He was a very kind, friendly and gentle soul. Rob created this amazing breakfast burger that touched our souls. This burger consisted of the hamburger meat and bun of course, fried eggs, hash browns, grilled onions, mushrooms, cheese and most importantly Rob´s touch. Although we knew it was a cholesterol concern we didn´t care. We ordered this burger most of the time when visiting Besos. Rob perfected it which made us come back for more. Please know Rob will be truly missed. We made a point to say hello and chat a bit when we were there. May he continue to rest in peace and may God bless your family!

TO Delores, Paul and family!
Robert was Robert to many people but to our family he was Andy Rippee from down the street in Bedford, NS, Canada!
Am guessing that he was about 10 when he would ring our doorbell and be standing on our front step with a flower in hand for our daughter Lisa! Will always remember our dinner at Chinatown when Andy arrived covered in his Dads cologne! At this sad time we are remembering the good times but are feeling your heartbreak!
