Robert William Rohrl

Mr. Robert William Rohrl, age 87, known to everyone as "Bob", passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Pearl of Fort Mill.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 30th, 2022, at Philadelphia United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Father John Giuliani officiating. The family encourages everyone to wear warm clothing. In honor of Bob, and his favorite baseball team, Cleveland Indians apparel is welcome.
Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, Bob was a son of the late Harold John Rohrl and Rose Brinkmeier Rohrl. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 until 1958, stationed in Germany. Bob had a successful career with Bendix Automotive in Elyria, Ohio; and, in 1980, he was transferred to Charlotte, North Carolina. He found the perfect place to live just across the state-line, Tega Cay, South Carolina. Bob really enjoyed golfing and spending time on the lake with his family there. He also found a church that was just right and joined St. Philip Neri.
Bob is survived by his wife of 33 years, Delores Brandon Rohrl; his son, Robert E. Rohrl (Vanessa) of Greensboro, N.C.; daughters, MaryJo Rohrl and Susan McKee, both of Greensboro, N.C., and Michelle White of Gastonia, N.C.; sisters, Mary Agnus Rohrl of Cleveland, Ohio and Kathleen Dunn of Flint Hill, Va.; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Storey; his sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Clarence McConihay; brother, Joseph Rohrl; and his brother-in-law, James Dunn.
