away peacefully; dear husband of Donna; cherished father of Douglas Sr.,
the late Deborah, and Robert Jr. and his wife Kristin; loving brother of Mary
and Tony Etzel and Marge Roloff. Bob's legacy will continue to grow with
his beloved grandchildren-Brittany Fields, Douglas Roloff Jr., David Roloff
and Emma Coruzzi, Savannah and Christian Malone, Brooke Humphreys
and Anthony Zaccaria, Madison Roloff, and Katelyn Roloff and Logan
Valenza-and his cherished great-grandchildren-Jordan Fields, Hayven
Fields, Rylynn Malone, Kinsley Malone, Colson Roloff, and two baby boys
on the way.
Bob was born on October 9, 1937, in Baltimore, MD, to Douglas Roloff, Sr.,
and Esther Roloff (nee Mack). He graduated from Dundalk High School,
and after graduation, he began a long and fulfilling career at Bethlehem
Steel in Baltimore, where he worked as a millwright for 40 years. His
dedication to his work was only surpassed by his commitment to his family
and his passion for his personal interests of fishing, golfing, gun-building,
and car restoration.
We take comfort in knowing that Bob lived a full and happy life, and we are
grateful for every moment we were blessed to spend with him. His spirit will
live on through the stories told, the lessons learned, and the love he
shared.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Robert's life at Evans Life
Celebration Home, 3 Newport Drive, Forest Hill, MD, with a visitation on
Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A service will take
place immediately following on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 1 p.m.
Interment at Mountain Christian Church Cemetery, 1824 Mountain Road,
Joppatowne, MD 21085.
