Robert Ronayne Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Eline Funeral Home - Hampstead on Jul. 27, 2024.
Robert James Ronayne passed away on the 25th of July, 2024 in Westminster, Maryland. Born on the 15th of June, 1950, in Washington D.C., Bob is best remembered for his witty humor, fix-anything spirit, and always doing what was right. He was known for his kindness and respect for people and animals of all walks of life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, dog dad, and beloved member of his community.
Bob was the owner of Archit Design/Build where his craftsmanship and focus on quality shined. He was well respected in the field by peers and clients alike for his dedication and skill.
Bob loved classic cars and model trains, including his beloved self-built ' 67 AC Cobra and detailed antique train layouts at Christmas each year. On the weekends you could find Bob tinkering in his garage, participating in a car show to raise money for local charities, carefully wrangling a snake out of a neighbor's house, or enjoying time with his friends.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Kristi L. Ronayne, and his sons, Robert John Ronayne, Richard James Ronayne, Raymond (Rocky) Ronayne and Reid Jacob Ronayne; five grandchildren, siblings, Cathy Kelly, John Ronayne, Michael Ronayne, Patty Ronayne, Patrick Ronayne, and Therese Ronayne. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rosemary Ronayne.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date, to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to BridgingLife Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157 or America's Warriors Care Package Projects, 255 Clifton Boulevard, Westminster, MD 21157.
Arrangements are entrusted to ELINE FUNERAL HOME, Hampstead, Maryland

Mr Bob and Mrs Kristy will always have a place in my heart. Saddened to learn of Bobs passing ... A lot of good childhood memories eating that Santonis Cheesy Bread , playing in an amazing custom built tree fort , and listening to Kenny Rogers Music at the Ronanynes! My condolences to Mrs Kristy, Bobby ,Richard,Rocky, and Reid and the rest of the family! - Patrick

I worked with Bob at FreedomCar. A true gentleman with the best sense of humor. He gave me a "Jamaica" beach towel which I will keep in memory of him. Take your rest Bob.

I called Robert, "Bob The Builder". You couldn't ask for a better friend. He was the type of guy that made your problem his problem and became laser focused on resolving it. He always had a smile, but the smile had different meanings. You knew what it meant without him saying anything. He was a caring person. He knew how to make you laugh with his quick wit. Bob was very knowledgeable, sharing what he had and knew with anyone in need. Bob could be a tad bit stubborn and had his way of doing things. But he gave so much of himself to others, that it was easy to overlook. He will be remembered for the great person he was, and will be truly be missed...
