Robert G. Sanders was born July 8, 1936 in Wilmore, KY to Robert A. and Margaret Morgan Sanders and died on September 8, 2025. His parents and great nephews Robert A. and Neo Thomas Sanders predeceased him. He is survived by his brother Ronald L. Sanders (Ardis Hoven) and a niece, Heather Marie Sanders.

Bob was proud of his service as a military policeman in the US Army. He later enjoyed his friendships with some members of the Lexington Police Force.

Bob spent most of his life in Lexington, KY where he enjoyed the races at Keeneland and University of Kentucky sports. He also enjoyed old classic movies, which he shared with his friends. He was employed by Link-Belt Corporation until his retirement.

He lived a quiet and enjoyable life.

A private service for family will be held at a later date.
