The recent death of Robert W.Schlemmer leaves behind not only his first family but also his second one, his step family. He and Janet were married nine years. after dating in high school they re-met 53 years later, the rest is history. His wife and step family also feels his loss and holds cherished memories of times spent together. Bob's many qualities were appreciated and valued by his step kids n grands. He so enjoyed the little ones! Life was also enhanced by the pets shared over the years, adding a furry element to life. Special meals, time spent around the campfires, the big parties, holidays, happy and sad times, he is missed. Bob was a self made man, nothing was handed to him. Educated as a teacher he went on to start and run various businesses. He eventually started a construction company and developed it into a successful thriving enterprise. His love of wildlife and the outdoors brought him into the Pa Game Commission, a perfect match. He worked years and made his way up through the agency until he was elected President, not once but twice, a rare honor. He served proudly. So many memories; I would love to share them but hold them close in my heart. We will remember the good in him.
