Robert T. Schneider

Robert "Bob" Schneider, 80, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 15. He was born on October 2, 1945, to Paul Schneider Sr. and Angela Schneider.

Bob was the beloved husband of Jody (née Ehrhard) for nearly 56 years. He was a devoted father to Michael Schneider (Beth Nowicki Schneider) of Phoenix, AZ, Annie Schneider of Phoenix, AZ, and Jenny Gehring (Jon Gehring) of Cincinnati, OH. He was a loving grandfather to Audrey Schneider, Jack Schneider, Mikella Schneider, and Jude Gehring. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Joseph. He is also survived by his siblings Paul Schneider Jr. (Marge), Angela Prues (Jim), Richard Schneider (Debbie), and their families.

Bob grew up in Northern Kentucky and attended Thomas More College. He worked as a Controller for Victory Wholesale Grocers for 28 years and proudly taught accounting as an adjunct professor at Thomas More College for more than 20 years.

Outside of work, Bob devoted his time to coaching his children in youth sports. He was a devout Catholic and, along with his wife Jody, spent many years serving as a Pre-Cana coach, preparing young Catholic couples for marriage. Bob always looked forward to his weekly bowling nights with his father. He was an avid and skilled euchre player and loved playing cards with family and friends. His love of movies was evident in the extensive collection he built over the years.

Bob was known for his unwavering love of family and his constant desire to provide a better life for them. He cherished family vacations to Gatlinburg and Kure Beach. He was a proud father and grandfather, always eager to share his knowledge and experience with his children and grandchildren. Bob's laugh was contagious, and he was always looking to make people happy. One of his favorite sayings in recent years was, "Keep on smiling!"

Services

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Fisher Church, 3227 Church St, Cincinnati, OH 45244. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249.
