Robert Junior Sears

Robert Junior Sears, 91, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at Eldon Nursing and Rehab in Eldon, Missouri. He was born August 10, 1932 in Eldon, Missouri the son of the late John and Ada (Conway) Sears. On December 23, 1950 in Eldon, Missouri he was united in marriage to Mary Jane (Wells) Sears who preceded him in death on January 23, 2021. Their loving union was shared for 70 plus years.

Nine Grandchildren, Michele Vaughan, John Sears (Candice), Jared Sears, Melissa McDaniel, Kenneth Paul McDaniel, Andrea Westbrook (Hunter), Joshua Sears (Gabby), Craig Siebert & Alicia Barrows (Ryan)
Twenty-four Great-Grandchildren & Nine Great-Great Grandchildren
Sister, Peggy Martin of Olean, MO
Along with his parents and his wife, a son, Larry Sears & his wife Sherry, a brother, Cecil Sears, and a brother-in-law, Jack Martin preceded him in death.
Robert was employed with MODOT for thirty-five years before retiring. He was a member of the Aurora Springs Baptist Church of Eldon, MO where he served many years as a Deacon. He was an avid fisherman.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Aurora Springs Baptist Church with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tim Smith and Pastor Earl Wood officiating. Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.
Memorials in his name are suggested to the Aurora Springs Baptist Church.
