Robert J. Seiss, 83 of Buffalo Twp., passed away at home on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. He was born December 6, 1940 in Homestead to the late Peter R. and Helen R. (Dudash) Seiss. Robert lived most of his life in Homestead and since 2002 in Buffalo Twp. He was in building maintenance for Wean United, in Pittsburgh and a veteran of the US Navy, as a carrier service in various ports. Robert was of the catholic faith and a graduate of Schwab vocational.
Survivors include his children, Diane Doven, of Etna, Cindy (Carmen) Morgano, of Tarentum, John R. (Jennifer) Seiss, of Munhall and Jennifer L. (William) Lilly, of Reno, NV. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and a sister Mary Jane Kolesar, of Washington. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine (Baker) Seiss, and brothers Raymond, Henry and Daniel Seiss.
Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Services will be at 10 AM Saturday in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp., with Navy honors. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY.
