Robert Shaffer Obituary
Robert 'Rob' A. Shaffer, 72, of Curwensville passed away on February 10, 2026, at his home.
He was born June 5, 1953, the son of the late George S. Shaffer and Murriel (Condon) Shaffer.
Rob retired from the Walmart Distribution Center where he worked as yard truck driver for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Hamilton) Shaffer whom he wed September 1, 1972; daughters, Michelle Shaffer, and Heather (Steven) Ressler; four grandchildren, Joshua Shaffer, Nicholas Welder, Lauren Ressler, and Hunter Ressler; two brothers, Lanny (Kathy) Shaffer, and Kelly (Rebecca) Shaffer; and three brothers-in-law, Jesse Hamilton, David (Linda) Hamilton and Dennis (Kathie) Hamilton.
A funeral service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 1 PM with Pastor Scott Schultz officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 AM - 1 PM.
