Robert Dale Shank

 

Warren, Ohio - Robert Dale Shank, age 42, died from pneumonia complications on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, in Warren, Ohio. He was born on June 25, 1981, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of JoAnn (Greathouse) and Dale Lee Shank. A lifelong area resident, Rob married Jamie Ann Anderson on June 21, 2014.
He was a rubber extrusion operator for Universal Polymer & Rubber of Middlefield, Ohio for the last eleven years. Growing up on a horse farm, Rob had a love of horses and dabbled in bull riding. He was a regular at the former Double L Rodeo in Kinsman, Ohio, riding bulls lead to meeting the love of his life there. He loved spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren. You could find Rob at the horseshoe pit, dartboard, shooting range, at his favorite fishing hole or being the grill master for dinner.
Rob is preceded in death by his father, Dale; maternal and paternal grandparents; and granddaughter, Raven Settlemire.
Survivors include his wife of nine years, Jamie A. Shank of Warren, Ohio; his daughter, Lakota M. (Joshua Gilmore) Davis of Warren, Ohio; three grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, and Stella; his mother, JoAnne Shank of Elyria, Ohio; his brother, James Shank of North Jackson, Ohio, two nephews, Jesse, and Cole, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
