Robert Bruce Shaw

Robert B. Shaw, 58, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of the late Bruce and Sallymae (Canavey) Shaw.
Robert was a cherished father to Hannah and Kelsey Shaw and the loving brother of Thomas Shaw and his wife Dina. He is also survived by his partner, Kristin Griffiths, who brought joy and companionship to his life, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Robert had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time fishing, bowling, and following NASCAR and football. A passionate Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan, he never missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams. He was also an avid Godzilla enthusiast and a loyal listener of Felger & Mazz sports radio-daily rituals that brought him laughter, excitement, and connection.
His adventurous spirit shone through in his love of travel, whether the trip was big or small. Known for his pure heart and generous nature, Robert was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He adored animals, cherished his loved ones, and brought warmth and humor wherever he went. His caring spirit and unforgettable presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Chapel Service will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 1:00 PM, with Visitation prior from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick.
