Robert "Bob" Harry Sheetz, 80, of Harrisburg, went home to be with Jesus on May 8, 2023.
He was born in Harrisburg on January 11th, 1943 to the late John and Erma (Blough) Sheetz.
In 1978, Bob became the owner and operator of Bob Sheetz Roofing and Siding Co. After working long days on the roof, Bob enjoyed working out, daily devotions and prayer time, attending his children and grandchildren's sporting events, OCMD beach vacations, and attending Sunday church services. Bob was a United States Army Veteran.
Bob will always be remembered for loving God, his family, and Penn State football. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Bob is preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, John, and Harvey.
Surviving, is his wife, Cheryl K. (Martin) Sheetz; son, Robert "Rob" Sheetz and his wife, Angel of Enola; two daughters, Stephanie (Sheetz) Schwartz and her husband, Jeff of Boiling Springs, Rebecca (Sheetz) Folk and her husband, Chris of Dillsburg; one brother, William Sheetz and his wife, Kathy; two sisters, Betty Lou Rasberry, Linda Brenize; ten grandchildren and their spouses, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 at 7 P.M. at the Geigle Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Tiday officiating. There will be a viewing from 6-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers Bob and Sherry request any donations be made to Christian Roberts. A close family friend who recently experienced the passing of his wife Rose and mother of their two sons. Please send to 63 Edgewater Drive, Middletown PA 17057
