Robert Dale Siek, 90, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025.
Born in 1934, Bob lived a life defined by integrity, dedication, and a genuine kindness that touched everyone he met. Above all, Bob was devoted to his family. He is survived by his children, Robert D. Siek, Jr. (Terri), Cynthia L. Bates (Dennis), and Michael J. Stratton; his grandchildren, Robi Sclafani, Corey Bates, Dr. Matthew Stratton, Colin Bates, and Samuel Stratton; his great-grandchildren, Elio Sclafani, Vivian Messner, and Grady Bates; his nieces and nephews, and their families; and all of his remaining family members located around the country. His love for them was unwavering, and his presence in their lives was a constant source of support, encouragement, and joy.
Bob earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Denver and went on to complete his master’s degree at the University of Michigan. Over the course of his career, he held leadership positions at the Colorado Department of Health, the Council of Energy Resource Tribes (CERT), and Jacob’s Engineering, where he was respected for his steady guidance and commitment to excellence.
Those who knew Bob will remember his humble spirit, caring nature, and the quiet way he made everyone feel valued. He believed in treating others with kindness and respect, leaving a legacy not only in his professional accomplishments but in the countless lives he brightened through simple, genuine connection.
A private family gathering will be held to celebrate his life.
