Robert Luke Simpson

Robert Luke Simpson, who went by Luke, passed away July 30, 2022, at the age of 28. He was born on October 22, 1993, and is survived by his parents, R.W. and Michelle Simpson, his sister, Karyn Simpson, and many other loving family members, including his grandparents, Tootie and Robby Simpson. Luke is deeply loved by his family and friends. We will miss him dearly.
Luke graduated from Boerne High School, and went on to earn his Associate's Degree from Anne Arundel Community College in Maryland. He was a hard worker whose persistence and determination drove him to become an Eagle Scout, to earn his Black Belt and beyond, and to hike over 80 miles to the top of a 12,000+ ft. mountain. He loved helping others, and was currently working as a home health aide to a young man in Boerne.
Luke adored animals of all shapes and sizes, and was always surrounded by a varying collection of dogs, cats, rats, snakes, fish, turtles, and so on. In lieu of flowers, the Simpson family respectfully requests contributions in Luke's memory be made to the Humane Society at sahumane.org/donate.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 4, at 10 a.m. at Mission Park Cemetery, Dominion.
