Robert Lee "Bob" Simpson

Cumberland, MD- Robert "Bob" Lee Simpson, 83, of Cumberland, MD, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025 at his home.
Born November 15, 1941 in Westernport, MD, Mr. Simpson was the son of the late Virgil Simpson and Charlotte (Cuppett) Simpson. He was also preceded in death by his wife: Theresa Simpson; a daughter: Sharon Simpson; and a sister: Sandra Andrews.
Bob owned and operated Simpson Fire Protection for many years. He loved watching football and taking care of his animals.
Bob is survived by his loving companion of 24 years: Katie Ware; his children: Pamela Simpson; Lisa Sailer and husband Charles; Robert Simpson; Joseph Simpson; and Catherine Simpson and significant other, Jacob Weston; his brother: Thomas Simpson and wife Joyce; and his sister: Debbie Simpson and husband Mike; his grandson: Chuckie Sailer; his feline companion: London; his canine companions: Gemma and Bow; and his rabbit: Patches; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. A funeral service will begin at 5:00 P.M. with Pastor Seth Wharton officiating.
Interment will be in Ft. Ashby Cemetery at a later date.
