My only regret is that I hadn't seen him in so long. We used to hang out back in the 70's. I don't believe I'd ever known a man who was so easy to get along with. He loved to laugh and tell jokes. We usually didn't didn't think they were as funny as he did, but it didn't matter, he was a great guy. Rest in peace Roddy. (as we used to call him)

Gonna miss you ya crabby ol' cuss. Who is going to tell me the worst jokes in the world now?
I'm so glad we were able to make it to a few Twins games, especially at Target Field. "Ain't that right Grampa?", I'll never forget that kid, he made us laugh so many times over the years.
Peace to you Robert

Robert, you received the military internment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, just as you said you wanted. Your family and other friends are trying to remember the good times. The world is a better place because you lived. We are better people having known you.
