Robert A. Skenandore, age 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Born on July 27, 1949, in Oneida, Wisconsin, he was the beloved son of the late Thomas A. Skenandore and Mildred M. (Hill) Wilber.
Robert was preceded in death by his cherished son, Paul Skenandore, his brothers Daniel and Eddie Skenandore, and his sister Linda Skenandore. He is lovingly remembered by his siblings Sandra Wilber, Diane Wilber, Rodney Wilber, and Marylou Skenandore; his close friends Sandra and Anthony Pease; sons Robert Skenandore Jr. and Nick Skenandore, his grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Robert is a proud member of the Oneida Nation. He studied carpentry at MATC, applying his skills in countless ways throughout his life. Known for his love of music, especially Motown and Jazz, he also enjoyed playing pool and darts, creating Native arts and crafts, and rooting passionately for his favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers. Above all, Robert treasured his time with family and friends, who will deeply miss his warmth, humor, and gentle spirit.
Robert's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
