Robert “Skip” John Mentus was born on December 9th, 1946. He was the son of Tom and Edith Ligus. He is survived by Sister Leni-Anne Shuchter, Brother Tommy Ligus, loving partner of 30 years Susana Randle, Son John Mentus, Daughter-in-Law Stacia Mentus, and Grandson Robert “Robbie” Mentus III.
On February 10th, he joined his son Robert “Bear” John Mentus II, Husband to Stacia and Father to “Robbie”, in Heaven.
He was an avid bowler, Catholic and 5-year cancer survivor. He had a love for photography and family. He owned a computer programming company System Support Group.
He lived his life in the service of others and his Lord God, often at the sake of himself.
Memorial mass will held Friday, Feb. 16th at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
