Robert Smetak Obituary
Robert B. Smetak, 82, of Scottdale died Saturday February 21, 2026 at his residence. Mr. Smetak was born August 1, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Charles and Kathryn Perbonish Smetak.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He retired as a diesel mechanic at Penn Line in Scottdale. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed being in nature.
Bob is survived by his loving family, his wife Esther M. Mikolajczyk Smetak; his children, Michelle Smetak, and Travis Smetak; his grandchildren, Tenley Maple and Memphis Smetak; his siblings, Bonnie Marne, and Dean Smetak; and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, Molly, Kay, Jean, Charles, John, and Ronald.
