Robert, William
Robert William Smith, 100 of Muskegon, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025.
Robert was born November 30, 1925, the son of Arthur and Ruth Smith. He served his country in the Army Air Force. He married Lois Todd on May 14, 1971 and together they enjoyed 37 years of marriage until her death in 2008. Bob worked as a pattern maker at Noren and Anderson Pattern. He also attended Christ Community Church and was a member of Muskegon Moose Lodge #491. Bob enjoyed fishing, traveling, camping, woodworking, trips to the casino, and a good game of Yahtzee. He was a intelligent, kind, loving, gentle man who will be deeply missed.
SURVIVORS
Nephew, Dave (Dee) Anderson; nieces, LuAnn (John) Place, and Karen (Dan) Reister; great nieces and nephews, Kristin (June), Joshua (Jade), Amanda (Marty), Trisha (Jay), Candice, Kelee (Scott), and Jeremy (Monique).
He was preceded in death by: his wife; parents, brother, Richard Smith; sister, Patricia Timm; and great nephew, Andy Reister.
SERVICES
The celebration of Life for Robert will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the Arlington Woods Clubhouse from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
