Robert Srnovrsnik Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations on Feb. 13, 2023.
Robert W. Srnovrsnik, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2023, at the age of 53. He was born on April 6, 1969, in Euclid, OH.
Bob, also known to many as Rob, graduated from Euclid High School in 1987, where he was active in the HS Band. He was proudly employed, and dedicated 22 years to Prisco-Quantum Coatings. Bob and his family built a life in Charlotte, NC, but he will forever be a Clevelander at heart. Bob, or Rob if you prefer, had a passion for music and was an accomplished vocalist who mastered several instruments, including the trumpet, piano, and cowbell (his favorite). He was a kind and devoted family man who touched the lives of everyone he met. He enjoyed his years coaching his son on the baseball field, attending every dance recital, cheer competition, and school game possible, and playing in several bands in Charlotte. He was probably happiest in the kitchen, and never made a meal without an abundance of love or singing. Above all, Bob cherished time spent with his family and made memories that will last a lifetime. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will forever hold him close in their hearts. Bob will be fondly remembered for his amazing sense of humor, joyful spirit, and kindness.
Bob is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 28 years, Barbara Srnovrsnik (nee Gandolfo), cherished children Jaden, Parrish, and Graceson Srnovrsnik, father Bill (Dianne) Srnovrsnik, and her children Cheryl Kotonski, Kelley (Craig) Koslasky, Kristen (George) White, and John Kotonski, aunts and uncles Chris (Len) Crawford, Jim (Claudia) Srnovrsnik, Don (Sue) Srnovrsnik, Phil Srnick and Jane Srnick Monreal. Bob also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and his loyal dog, Jojo.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Suzanne M. Srnovrsnik (nee Hayes) and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 4 to 8pm at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd. Eastlake, OH 44095. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 8pm also at the funeral home. https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/index.php?data=MTY3NjQ0MTU4MTIzNjAyMSZvbmVyb29tLWFkbWluJmNvcHlfbGluaw==

Srnovrsnik family, it was my honor and pleasure to have known Bob. He was always a gentleman and professional whenever we were together. Bob and I started at Prisco in 2000 and our work friendship was always great. He often spoke of his family and how proud he is of all of you.
I will miss our company meetings and training sessions and those times we had to chat about life, baseball and work, in that order.
Rest in peace my friend.

Robbie had a tremendous fear of having his hair washed when he was little. His mom, Sue, who was my only sister would leave him in my care when she went on weekend trips. One night, when I was bathing him and I learned of his fear of having his hair washed, I made a very sudsy mountain top out of his hair and pretended it was a ski slope. After that, he had no more fear of having his hair washed. He was a delightful young man, very blonde, very cute, and loved to joke around. He was the center of his Mother's, my Beloved sister's, world. My eldest, Joshua who is 7 yrs. Robbie's Jr., has fond memories of his big older cousin. In those days, we had many family gatherings. Sadly, all drifted away over time. However, Robbie will never be forgotten. I know my sister is happy to be reunited with her Beloved son and only child.
