Robert L. "Bob" Steed
Age 75, of Canton, passed away Tuesday November 1, 2022 in Aultman Hospital. He was born November 7, 1946 in Canton to the late Zack and Pauline (Tanner) Steed. Bob was a 1964 graduate of Canton South High School and was a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He retired from Praxair Inc. after more than 30 years of service. He was a member of North Industry Christian Church, Caldwell Lodge #330 F&AM and Scottish Rite Valley of Canton. He is preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Ditto. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Debra R. (Hockensmith) Steed to whom he was married 44 years; three children, Bart (Joy) Steed, Lacey (Tom) Murphy and Brock Steed (Amanda Wanner); six grandchildren, Luke, Francesca "Frankie", Ariana "Polly", Connor, Hadlee and Mia. Friends and family will be received this Friday 6-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave with Masonic services at 5:45pm. A graveside service will be Monday November 7, 2022 at 10:00am in Melscheimer Cemetery with Keith Hochadel officiating.
