Robert Francis Stein

Age 89, of McMurray, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and children on Friday, April 22, 2022. He was the beloved husband for 65 years of Joan Obenour Stein; loving father of Robert F. Stein, Jr. (Jody), Susan Stein Lascko and Janet Stein Laneve (Rich); grandfather of Paul Robert Lascko, Robert F. Stein, III (Caitlyn), Bridget Stein, Leslie Laneve, Lauren Laneve and Richard Laneve, III; and great-grandfather to "Baby Stein" due in June. Born on October 3, 1932 to Carl and Roberta Stein of Carnegie and was the loving brother of Carol M. Stein. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cherished friends and neighbors. Robert graduated from Langley High and the University of Pittsburgh. He enjoyed a long and successful career at Union Electric Steel Corporation in Carnegie. His love, family dedication and generous spirit will be deeply missed. Arrangements by BEINHAUER. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 28th at 10:00 a.m. at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Benedict the Abbot Church located in McMurray.
