Robert "Bob" L. Sternitzky, 49, of Marshfield, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center - Marshfield, after battling various health issues.
Bob was born on May 31, 1976 to Gerald Sternitzky and Mary (Hubbard) Sternitzky in Neillsville, WI. He lived most of his life in Granton, WI, graduating from Granton High School in 1995. He was active in the school's marching band, where he played trumpet, receiving the John Philip Sousa Award for outstanding leadership.
After Bob graduated from high school, he held a number of jobs in the area, with his most recent job being at Marshfield Medical Center.
During his free time, Bob had several hobbies, including playing video games, Dungeons & Dragons and Magic strategy games, and cribbage. He also enjoyed seeing new movies when they would get released, listening to many genres of music, and had a great interest in Marvel comics and Star Wars.
Bob is survived by his siblings: William (Terresa) of Neillsville, Terry of Granton, James of Banning, CA, Mark (Donna) of Neillsville, and Rebecca (Dave) Kuehn of Granton. He is further survived by his half-siblings: Susan (Kevin) Feltz of Junction City, Steve of Stevens Point, Shari (Adam) Doerrler of Wisconsin Rapids, and Sandy of Stevens Point. Bob is also survived by his nieces: Tina (Russ) Van Lieshout of Milwaukee, and Amanda (Brett) Klieforth of Eau Claire, and a great-nephew, Jackson Klieforth of Eau Claire.
He was predeceased by his parents Gerald Sternitzky and Mary Sternitzky, his sister-in-law Linda Sternitzky, grandparents Leo & Edna Sternitzky, and Evelyn Fabian and Mitchell Hubbard.
The family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
